CCCi has an excellent long-term opportunity for a Network Project Manager with one of our premier clients in downtown Dallas, TX. This is a one year contract with a very high probability of a multiple year extension. The compensation for this position will range between $45/hr - $55/hr depending on experience.

The Network Project Manager will be responsible for

- Applying skills, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed client needs and expectations.
- Infrastructure Projects involving all Information Technology, concentrating on Network projects.
- You will be expected to apply Project Management skills and methodologies to manage multiple small, medium, large or complex projects.
- You will be expected to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within budget, with a high degree of quality and in agreement with stated client requirements and objectives.
- Defines and prioritizes project requirements. Develops time and cost estimates, project plans, and budgets. Oversees and controls ongoing costs, schedules, resources, scope, and risks.
- Negotiates and persuades decision makers regarding necessary action steps to achieve the goals and objectives of the project.
- Develops, monitors, and coordinates project activities, such as scheduling, tracking, and reporting; assess the impact of planned changes and builds contingency plans to support the
change efforts.
- Overcomes obstacles and resistance to change through the use of complex strategies to promote project/program success, such as sharing resources to solve mutual problems across the organization.
- Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts.
- Monitors project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule. Identifies ways to resolve schedule issues.
- Keeps management aware of the situation.
- Develops strategy and ensures integration of project plans and overall execution.
- Assesses variances from the project plan, gathers metrics, and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Provides the team with constructive feedback as it pertains to project performance. Uses past
experiences to identify potential areas of improvement.

Network Project Manager required skills include

- 5+ years of documented Project Management experience in large and complex network and infrastructure environments is required.
- Must have traditional project management skill set including the ability to build schedules, create and manage issue and risk logs, manage project financials, manage scope change requests, etc.
- Extensive experience managing medium to large network projects.
- The ability to understand business objectives and how to meet those objectives essential. Basic Project Management and Team Leadership skills are needed, along with good communication skills.
- You must be able to work with all levels of management.
- Desirable skills include knowledge of and experience with: Distributed UNIX and WINTEL platforms, Citrix, SAN Storage, NAS Storage, VM Ware, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and large Data Networks.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and third parties and managing project scope ensuring proper escalation for issues and risks is essential.
- Strong knowledge of issues and dependencies on infrastructure projects and experience planning and controlling large scale infrastructure projects is a must.
