Description
6 month plus contract for a Sr. Desktop support specialist. Candidate will be responsible for support, design, building, and maintaining the desktop/laptop (physical and virtual) images. The role will include updating images with service packs, security rollups and individual security patches, as well as keeping the associated documentation up to date.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the I/T profession with strong technical skills and aptitude
- Two to five years of operating system support for Windows XP and Windows 7, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office and performance tools
- Knowledge of desktop imaging processes
- Technical leadership experience Desired
- Prior work experience in building desktop images.
- Knowledge of Symantec Ghost software, windows Scripting, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), WDS (Windows Deployment Services)
