IT Alliance, an IT Service Provider, are looking to hire a Senior UI Developer for an initial 6 month contract role based in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new applications using the latest versions of .NET and SQL Server. Applicants must have strong technical and communication skills.
Role:
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design and development to debugging, testing and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership to the software development team.
- Responsible for code reviews and maintaining high quality technical standards.
- Carry out system tests to ensure a high quality deliverable to QA.
- Management of communication between Project Managers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years commercial UI development experience.
- At least 3 years AJAX development experience.
- Strong JavaScript and CSS experience.
- Some knowledge of JQuery.
- Knowledge of Unit Testing.
- Experience of mentoring junior developers.
- Exposure to ASP.NET would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
