Oracle Database Developer
6Month Contract, Galway

Vantage Resources require an experienced Oracle Database developer. This is an initial 6 month contract role based in Galway with a blue chip client.
The Role:
At least 4-5 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, data analysis and debugging skills, SQL performance tuning
Comfortable with multiple database concepts
Familiarity with logical Datamodelling and relational database design
Experience in working with source control systems (preferably Clearcase)
Experience in working in UNIX environment.
Experience working with project teams located in multiple geographic locations.
Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodology.
Advantageous to have
Data movement and ETL experience (preferably Informatica)
Financial systems knowledge (preferably brokerage or mutual fund knowledge with an emphasis on portfolio modelling/allocation, separate account management, etc.)
Experience in working with Job scheduling tools (preferably Autosys)
Experience in Shell Scripting preferably C-Shell/K-Shell
Understanding of Continuous Integration technologies and methodologies, namely:- Maven, Hudson. Buildforge, PMD
