Leading Consultancy Organisation is seeking a WebSphere Infrastructure Specialist to manage their WebSphere Infrastructure and be involved in the following:
- Participate in projects as the lead WebSphere engineer
- Participate in change management processes.
- Secure continuity of the WebSphere infrastructure.
- Implement changes with regards to infrastructure.
- Implement changes with regards to applications.
- Perform analyses of production-activities, using available means for monitoring and registration.
- Report disruptions on equipment, software and/or processes, as part of information systems in a proactive manner.
- Perform tuning work.
- Solve disruptions within agreed timeframes and communicate with other teams where required.
- Perform ITIL processes
- Take measures to control incident and problems.
- Execute acceptance testing, both new or changed components.
- Maintain and perform production acceptance criteria.
- Prepared to participate in a stand by schedule outside office hours if needed.
So seeking applicants with the following skills and experiences:
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch
- Knowledge of at least the following operating systems: AIX, Linux
- Specific knowledge of WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal in versions 5.1, 6.0, 6.1 and 7
- ITIL
- Loadbalancing using WebSphere Edge Server.
- Knowledge of LDAP
- Familiar with Web Security
- Database knowledge, preferably oracle and DB2
- knowledge of Java programming standards and methods
- good knowledge of Scripting with Python and Shell Scripting
- knowledge of WebSphere MQ
- good knowledge of Internet technologies and concepts
- working knowledge of different project methods
