Description
Manage WebSphere Infrastructure- Participate in projects as the lead WebSphere engineer
- Participate in changemanagementproces.
- Secure continuity of the WebSphere infrastructure.
- Implement changes via RFC's with regards to infrastructure.
- Implement changes via RFC's with regards to applications.
- Perform analyses of production-activities, using available means for monitoring and registration.
- Report disruptions on equipment, software and/or processen, as part of informationsystems in a proactive manner.
- Perform tuning work.
- Solve disruptions within agreed timeframes en communicate with other teams where required.
Perform ITIL processes
- Take measures to control incident- en problemproces.
- Execute acceptance testing, both new or changed components.
- Maintain and perform production acceptance criteria.
- Prepared to participate in a stand by schedule outside office hours if needed.
- Extensive description of the required skills Working and thinking at a bachelor's level.
- Good knowledge of English. Dutch desirable
- Knowledge of at least the following operating systems: AIX, Linux
- Specific knowledge of WebSphere Application Server en WebSphere Portal in versions 5.1, 6.0, 6.1 and 7
- ITIL
- Loadbalancing using WebSphere Edge Server.
- Knowledge of LDAP
- Familiar with Web Security
- Database knowledge, preferably oracle and DB2
- knowledge of Java programming standards and methods
- good knowledge of Scripting with Python and Shell Scripting
- knowledge of WebSphere MQ
- good knowledge of Internet technologies and concepts
- working knowledge of different project methods
Personal skills:
Good communications in English, Teamplayer, Result driven, Proactive, Analytical, Accurate Work experience needed
At least four years demonstrable experience within a comparable function
Demonstrable experience in projectparticipation as WebSphere engineer
ITIL usage and process support.
Experience within a complex maintenance organization, preferably in Finance industry
