Senior CISCO Consultant
Amoria Bond is looking for a Cisco Engineer. Our client is a leading solutions provider based in South Netherlands and is seeking to recruit a Cisco Network engineer. The Cisco Engineer will have experience in DPI platforms and strong I&V experience. The candidate will also be expected to manage their I&V project activities ensuring deliverables from both vendors and other areas of the business are managed.
The contract will be initially for 6 months and during this time it is expected that the
contracted engineer will be responsible for all I&V SCE activities as required by the company. As such, strong technical skills allied with a flexible attitude to tasks will be needed. The role will be varied, involving diverse activities from negotiating work packages with a vendor through to hands on testing of software and projects right through to helping knowledge and experience transfer to a junior member of staff on the platform.
In order to be considered for the Cisco Engineer position you need to demonstrate
knowledge of:
* IP Networking and protocols
* Cisco Switches (7600, 6500, 4500)
* Cisco Routers (7200, 3800, 3600)
* Cisco Nexus 2000, 5000, 7000
* Cisco IPT, VoIP, Callmanager
* Mobile network
* Network Design, Implementation and Support
* System and network management.
* Design, implementation and management site to site VPNs
* Delivering network support within a customer focused, growing and fast moving
organisation.
Able to manage business users as well technical associates Investigate technical issues
and produce timely and appropriate solutions.
Background of working in a vibrant, critical systems environment.
Ability to work as part of a team as role will require you to be capable of understanding
complex situations and identifying issues and solutions
Strong communications skills as role will need regular communication with vendors, test
facility, platform design authority, other technical departments.
Wiliness to act proactively and to take ownership of issues through to resolution
You would preferably live in South Netherlands region as shift/night work might be involved.
I can only accept candidates that hold valid passports to work in the Netherlands. Also, the most suitable candidates will have previous experience working in the Netherlands and be willing to work via the Dutch payroll system due to contract duration.
This is an English and DUTCH speaking role.
