Senior Project Manager
1. Context of the missionProject Manager, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a specific release ensuring consistency with the program strategy, commitments and goals

Duration: 3 months with possible extension
3. Language requirements
English is mandatory. French and/or Dutch is an important plus for interactions with end users.

- Mandatory: Proven experience in the setup of a complex and multi-layered projects within large organisations
- Proven experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously, taking responsibility for the project in terms of project ownership, monitoring and bringing it to a satisfactory conclusion
- More than 5 years of experience in the project management (scope-, budget-, resource-, risk management, direct reporting to the Steering Committees, )
- Previous experience in the information analysis, process analysis, functional analysis.
- Knowledge of Prince2 methodology
- Preferable: Experience application development projects
- Preferable: Banking organisation knowledge
6. Objective of the job
- Lead to guide and steer involved teams to deliver requested content.
- Able to challenge business on listed requirements and to contain the scope.
- Identifying the various Project Ownership stakeholders, conducting and planning their work
- Organising and running project teams within the framework of rules laid down between the Project Owner and Project Management
- Ensuring allocated budgets are adhered to
- Detailing and formalising functional requirements
- Taking part in drawing up a financial assessment and taking responsibility for evaluating the counterparts
- Writing or having others write functional instructions and validating them
- Supervising and validating functional acceptance based on acceptance conditions which he/she will have defined
- Taking part in defining trialling conditions, supervising this stage and -validate it
- Preparing integration, supervising it and validating the final assessment
- Supplying the Project Manager with information to enable him/her subsequently to draw up a financial assessment at the end of the project
