OPS Project Office - PMO-PSO Manager

Context: The mission of the OPS Project Office is to be enabling partner for

(a) Data-provision for decision-making (Doing The Right Thing)
(b) Institutionalizing common good practices for repeatable and predictable project delivery and asset maintenance execution (Doing The Things Right) to optimize value delivery by Operations and our clients.

As such, provides the OPS Project Office reporting, monitoring and coaching services for the overall OPS portfolio's towards management, resources managers, program managers and project managers.

Duration: 6 months

Function Description:

The day-to-day tasks and duties are to be defined taking into consideration the specific skills and competences of the individuals in the team. Overall day-to-day tasks generally could include:

  • Run-The-Bank services OPS Representation in different bank-wide methodology, tools and practices committees (including Clarity, Harmony, QC, DMS, SharePoint,)
  • User support, Training & Documentation for OPS (leveraging bank-wide practices and support-teams)
  • Portfolio & Project Report generation & publication in line with agreed reporting schedule (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Operational day-2-day PMO admin support (Clarity/SharePoint) and Quality Assurance (process compliance - peer review)
  • Managing Change Initiatives
  • Deployment bank-wide methodology change initiatives (including demand portfolio management, Harmony)
  • Harmonization project management and asset management practices cross Operations

Required knowledge/ experience:

Education & Soft skills Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience

+ Good analytical and synthesis skills;
+ Autonomy, commitment and perseverance in personal organization;
+ Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment;
+ Agility (small team - willingness to help out and take on other team roles based on overall Project Office Core responsibilities and priorities).

Experience:

+ Minimum of 2 years practitioner experience as project manager

Technical experience:

Mandatory:

+ Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word;
+ Usage experience of managing project planning via Clarity and OWB;
+ Usage experience SharePoint
+ Certified project management (PMI, Prince2, ..)
