My client requores an experience Software Developer/Engineer. You will be part of a SW development team that is responsible for audio functionality in Linux based platforms. The team works with R&D SW development as well as SW support to customers within the audio domain.
Job description:
The daily work will include analysis, design and implementation of audio functionality. The majority of the code is written in C code in a Linux environment with Android used as application framework. The job requires an ability to quickly understand new problems and a flexible attitude where "changes are embraced". The daily work is driven by internal project plans as well as requests from customers and context switch is a part of the job. A mindset to help and support our customers in the best possible way is crucial.
Required skills:
10 years experience of Embedded C-programming
7 years experience of HW close programming, drivers etc.
5 years Linux experience
Audio knowledge, how digital audio is processed. 5 years work experience.
3 years work experience from Linux Kernel
Experience from open source and community interaction
Tools: GIT, Gerrit
Good analytical and problem solving skill
Ability to communicate fluently in English, written as well as spoken
The ability to work hard and take initiatives
A positive attitude and a passion to reach the common goal

ALSA
OPEN MAX IL
Education level: Master of Science or similar.
