My client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for a role based in Belgium
MODULES/SKILL SET/TASK TO BE COMPLETED
Specific skills/experience required
l In-depth knowledge of Windows R2
l In-depth knowledge of IIS
l Expertise with Scripting languages (batch files, PowerShell, NAnt) and Windows
Utilities (eg SysInternals tool suite, robocopy)
l Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and Windows server administration tools
l Good understanding of TCP/IP-based networking, including Routers, Firewalls, VPN's
l Knowledge of MS SQL Server
l Knowledge of Citrix
Desirable
l Experience in Microsoft and .NET Platforms is an advantage
l Knowledge of OpManager
Roles and responsibilities
l Maintenance, optimization and improvement of the current IT infrastructure
l Contribute towards enhancements in architectural design to support future performance and scalability of our systems
l Proactively work alongside the different development teams to manage operational issues with systems and infrastructure
l 3rd line support for network and server related incidents and problems in our production environment
