Description
My client, a Market Leading Telecoms company, is looking for am Operations and Maintenance Engineer with a proven background in the Telecoms industry.
The successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring performance of network components, restoring faults and performing maintenance activities following operational instructions and work orders to ensure the operational availability of a network according to standards.
- Monitoring traffic and restoring faults
- Generating reports, administering all events and actions
- Fault analysis and correction
- Preventative maintenance
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Network Operations and Maintenance background
- Good knowledge of Routers and Switches (Juniper, Extreme, Redback)
- Good knowledge of TV/IP TV
- Understanding of HP Servers
