WebSphere developer
For our client in Eindhoven, the Netherlands we are searching for an experienced WebSphere developer.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Job Summary: Develop and document the global enterprise service bus, which is based on Service Oriented Architecture.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary focus of the assignment is on a project to upgrade the ESB core engine from Messsage Broker 6 to Message Broker 7.
* Install and configure IBM WebSphere Message Brokering v7.
* Install and configure IBM WebSphere MQ Queue Managers v7.
* Advise and assist in developing message flows.
* Migration and testing of Message Flows from v6 to v7
* Develop tracking and tracing.
* Develop error handling.
* Develop exception handling.
* Provide installation and configuration documentation.
* Support test process, create test cases, execute regression testing.
Experience
* Proven experience with IBM WebSphere Message Broker v6.x and v7.0
* Basic understanding of Enterprise Application Integration.
* Basic understanding of Service Oriented Architectures.
* Strong XML, XSLT, WSDL and web-service experience.
* Skills in Java and ESQL.
* Experience with Source Control, Subversion, PVCS.
* AIX + Linux operating system experience.
* IBM WebSphere Message Broker v8.0 is a plus.
Education and Other Credentials
Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must have the ability to sit and work at a computer for extensive periods of time.
Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and with clients/prospective clients.
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of attention and quality, details, correctness and deadlines.
Must have the proven ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
Must have strong English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
