SharePoint Developer (SQL Server, .NET, Active Directory)
My client urgently seeks a SharePoint Developer to join a project team responsible for developing the SharePoint Capability and MIS function
The successful SharePoint Developer's primary role will be with the integration of SharePoint to support the MIS and Application Support teams in developing, implementing and troubleshooting SharePoint applications. This will involve taking a proactive and hands-on approach towards completing development work in line with pre-determined requirements, reporting to project team members and liaising with key business stakeholders. In addition, you will be expected to spend time ensuring the other members of the development team are equipped to support SharePoint applications.
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Architecture and a working knowledge of related technologies such as: SQL Server 2005 and 2008, IIS, Web parts, etc.
- Development experience with Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2010, MOSS 2010 SharePoint Services, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, IIS, SQL Server 2005 and 2008
- Performance Point, Reporting Services, Excel Services
- Knowledge of Visual Basic, VB.NET, and .NET framework
- Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory
- Infrastructure experience with set up and deployment of SharePoint
- Insurance/Financial Services experience (desirable)
