Description

The work with our client will be a minimum 3 months duration on a 4 week on 4 week off work rotation, You must carry your own insurance covering the work you are contracted to perform.
You are employed out of the clients Construction Office and will have to cover your own cost for travel back and forth in the start and end of your rotation.
You are personally responsible for insuring that your own training and certification are up to the minimum project requirements.

- Extensive Knowledge/Experience with different ways of deploying a cable from the back deck of a vessel to the seabed including advantages and disadvantages with the different solutions
- Extensive Knowledge/Experience of how to handle a cable, the right way and the ways not to do it because it will damage the product.
- Basic knowledge about DP systems and anchor handling
- Basic understanding of cable composition.
- Basic understanding of survey equipment and how to read the information coming out of this equipment
- Basic understanding of cable burial using ROV or at least knowledge of what an ROV is it`s limitations.
- Basic understanding of weather and sea state,HSE,use of lifting equipment and the use of it
- Basic computer knowledge and understanding of the MS Office package and handling of photos

Role: Oversee installation & Burial of Array and Export Cables
Responsibilities:
- Handling/coordinate interface between LA & follow-on contactors or contractor`s components on board installation vessel/barge
- Record installation results and significant events during operations - create action lists and queries.
- Record installation snagging lists/NCR`s.
- Coordinate interface between Marine Coordinator and installation vessel/barge - The client rep will if required act as liaison between the Marine Coordinator (MC) and the vessel.
- Taking part (or chair) in the daily meeting on board the installation vessel/barge.
- Progress monitoring and reporting of the installation works (DPR)
- Recording down times including weather, technical breakdown or delays for pilot etc. - Any delays should be recorded and reported on the DPR.
- Oversee HSE awareness on activities carried out by the contractors
