Global Investmnet Bank based in The City looking for a FI Corporate Actions Specialist.
Main Purpose of Role:
- The Custody Specialist is responsible for ensuring all functions within the department are processed in an efficient, accurate and timely fashion incurring minimum cost.
- Assists in driving to improve operational performance , create value and outperform competitors.
- Identifies technical or process improvements within the operations infrastructure to reduce costs, improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Manages and organises daily functions to maximise effectiveness.
- To assist in ensuring Business Process Re-engineering maximises benefits to the organisation
Key Responsibilities
- Minimisation of the operational risk of the group.
- Assist in maintaining the relationship with the appropriate business partners and other key stakeholders
- To assist in maintaining a disciplined and systematic performance improvement culture.
- Assist with input to and execution of agreed SLA with the Business.
- Ensure maximum internal and external client satisfaction
- Assist in ensuring a scalable, flexible and efficient operating model is maintained.
- To ensure the day to day functions for non ESC & R&C business (where appropriate) occurs in an efficient and timely manner.
- To ensure queries are investigated thoroughly and resolved accordingly.
- To ensure that management is kept informed of major issues.
- To ensure that easily accessible records/filing are maintained where appropriate.
- To liaise with traders, legal, other support areas and counterparties.
- To ensure that desk procedures are kept up-to-date and that improvements are made when necessary in an effort to improve efficiency.
- To assist in the planning and implementation of new systems when necessary.
- Ad-hoc projects as and when required.
