Description
We are looking for a Senior Level Tester for a year-long contract in Dunwoody. This person will be responsible for designing and developing test scripts using various Scripting languages for Mobile Testing.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality
- Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by participating in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis
- Provide testing management for ongoing projects and future initiatives
- Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, and adhering to development and quality standards
- Analyze the testing needs and develop testing strategy and plans
- Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures such as database impacts, software scenarios or usability.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness and/or to mitigate risks
- Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained/updated in a timely fashion
To be successful, you must have Front End UI testing experience as well as ad hoc testing experience.
Additional requirements includes:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities
- 5+ years experience specifically testing Mobile Applications
- Experience with application testing on mobile device/handsets especially Windows Phone 7, Blackberry, iPhone and Android
- Ability to define and execute test cases for mobile applications
- Applied experience in facilitating business requirements documentation, creating test scripts, executing test scripts, logging defects, and performing regression analysis.
- Applied experience with use of Mercury TestDirector/Quality Center and Rally
- Must be results oriented, self motivated and have the ability to take ownership for QA responsibilities
- Peer-to-peer networking, cloud-based & web-based services
- Experience with database Architecture and SQL queries
- Person needs to be proactive. And have excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of iTunes, Google marketplace, Windows App Hub and BB appworld
- Some experience with testing on emulators and different devices and platforms (BB, Androids and Iphone/Ipad) a plus
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Experience with hotel/leisure/travel industries a plus.
- Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies
- Knowledge of Client Server Architecture
- Experience with database Architecture and SQL queries
- Knowledge of Web Services testing -preferred
