Description
We are looking for a Web Delivery Manager for a high-profile project in Dunwoody. This is a great opportunity for a senior level development lead with management experience to work on one of the most exciting projects in town. To be considered, you should have a minimum of 7 years of development lead or management experience and have in depth knowledge of web based Object Oriented technologies. You must have demonstrated your contribution to large scale public facing web-based applications and prove that you are capable of working within a Matrix organization.
Responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing software solutions, leading agile teams for complex projects, developing technical specifications and acting as a technical advisor in the software development process. Individual will also provide guidance to and review the work of team members to ensure quality and performance as well as investigating ways to improve processes existing today and implement improvements.
Ability to manage multiple Scrum teams with a direct report structure of roughly 15 - 20 people. Reports consist of a mixture of contract and Full time resources. Must be able to articulate the Scrum process in detail. Certification as CSM, CPO, CSD are a plus. Candidate must be able to collaborate and direct cross functional resources including developers, test engineers, user experience architects, graphic designers, Product Owners and ScrumMasters.
Hands on architecture design and development experience building web applications using:
- JSE/JEE
- Dependency Injection (Spring, Guice, etc.)
- MVC (Spring, Struts, Stripes, etc.)
- ORM (Hibernate, Toplink, iBatis, etc.)
- Web Services REST & SOAP
- Javascript Frameworks (JQuery, Prototype, etc.)
- HTML & CSS (Firm understanding of progressive enhancement)
- Test Driven Development (JUnit, TestNG)
- Continuous Integration (Firm understanding of code quality metrics and indicators)
- Java Application Servers (Tomcat, Resin, etc.)
- Web Servers (Apache, nginx, etc.)
- Public Cloud Infrastructure (EC2, Blue Cloud, etc.)
- CDN (Akamai, CloudFront etc.)
