Austin Fraser are working with one of their top clients based in Dublin - Ireland. This is a really exciting opportunity for a Cisco Senior Network Engineer.
My client are an extremely fast growing and successful company and they are seeking a Senior Cisco Network & Security Eengineer.
Responsibilities:
This role will involve creating and designing a new infrastructure and replacing old networks so high level detailed design experience is required.
Your role will also involve managing network infrastructure such as Firewalls, Switches, Routers, load balancers, intrusion detection systems, network scanning and change control auditing.
Responding to and troubleshooting and investigating network and security incidents and to review and audit changes to production environments.
Skills required:
At least 5 years recent experience of dedicated network and information security infrastructure
CCIE
Design experience
Build and maintenance of Cisco Firewalls
Experience with the management of Firewall and loadbalancer changes
Implementation, documentation and troubleshooting of network configurations, ensuring security and redundancy
Solid experience of OSPF, BGP, Router redundancy protocols, VPN, ISDN, MPLS, Spanning-tree, VTP and network device security hardening will be particularly valued.
Management and tuning of Intrusion Detection Systems, knowledge of network vulnerability scanning & change audit tools and appropriate response to alerts/threats.
Detailed knowledge and experience of network monitoring and troubleshooting
