Plexxus is a not-for-profit shared service organization with a mandate to provide supply chain as well as transactional finance, human resources and payroll services to member healthcare organizations. Plexxus is now positioned to enable efficiencies by implementing SAP financial and supply chain software applications at Plexxus and our member hospitals. The implementation of an SAP platform across our member hospitals will enable us to also provide additional transactional services in the areas of finance, human resources and payroll services. The Plexxus objectives are to improve service levels and maximize non-clinical efficiencies, resulting in savings for members that can be reinvested in direct patient care. We are recruiting a Senior Data Analyst to work at our project office in downtown Toronto with a cross functional team tasked to complete the work over the next 9 months.
Accountabilities:- Mentor/coach, and provide guidance to junior members of the team
- Support the ITS Data Management Team in management of the data conversion process in order to transition data from various Legacy systems into SAP
- Act as subject matter expert in the area of data management as it relates to various data types and objects such as Assets, Chart of Accounts, Vendors, Items and Inventory
- Correspond with Hospitals and Plexxus Operations in providing guidance and resolving concerns or issues as they relate to data
- Perform detailed review and analysis of all data elements in order to ensure that they correspond with various business standards, rules and constraints
- Research market, to identify best practices as it relates to data management
- Complete work activities as assigned in a timely fashion
- Participate and assist in the establishment of data management and governance practices
- Minimum five (5) years hands on experience in an analytical role or data role
- Proven ability to understand business operating and financial processes and align them to data requirements
- Previous experience working in a Finance or Supply Chain environment
- Demonstrated understanding of master data and governance
- Strong detail orientation
- Proven team player and leader
- Advanced MS Excel skills required: Proficiency in MS Access and SAP an asset
- Excellent analytical and trending skills; proven team player
- Self-starter, highly motivated, works well without constant supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid presentation skills
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Data conversion experience
- SQL knowledge and experience an asset
- Healthcare experience an asset.
