Our esteemed client in the Glen Mills area with an immediate need for an IT Security Analyst/DBA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a 6 month contract period and conversion to follow.
Title: IT Security Analyst/DBA
Position Description:
This position will work under direction of the CIO, and will be responsible for implementing and administrating best practices IT security across business applications, databases, infrastructure systems, Servers, and devices; recurring internal security and policy audits; maintaining and expanding the company's business continuity plan inclusive of simulated tests; and administrating the company's databases inclusive of security, administration, optimization, and other activities that contribute to a best in class database model.
Responsibilities:- 3-5 years experience with multiple DBA protocols
- 3-5 years experience with business continuity planning
- 3-5 years experience with IT security and governance
- 3-5 years experience with disaster recovery plans
- 3-5 years experience is listed below as 3-5 years but they will look at 1-3 for SHARP people
Skills:
- 3-5 years experience with database administration, best practices security, and internal policy audits within a Microsoft Windows environment as well as maintaining and testing company-wide business continuity plans.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to multitask, adjust priorities, and work autonomously.
- Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft databases, Active Directory, and best practices security practices.
- Very strong working knowledge of best practices IT governance.
- Strong practical expertise maintaining and testing business continuity plans.
