Membership Manager (6 month contract) - could go permanent.

Our client is seeking an experienced Membership Manager to ensure timely and accurate information flows in support of corporate compliance and governance with regard to Non Executive Directors, Governors and Members & ensure that we comply with regulators. The post holder will ensure appropriate linkages with Non Executive Directors (NEDS) governors and members. You will be required to develop close working relationships with : Company Sec, CEO, Chair, Directors, Members, Governors, General Managers & External Regulators and Auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

To recruit and maintain and active membership for the trust

To work closely with the communications team to ensure regular and appropriate communication with NEDs, Governors & members. To provide a high quality service to meet the needs of governors and members within the framework of the constitution of the NHS Foundation Trust.To act as the main point of contact for the Board of Governors and members, providing support and information. To support the Director of Corporate Affairs in their role as directed. To ensure that there is real involvement of members in the planning and development of services. To provide administrative support to the Council of Governors and Governors Committees. Work with the Council of Governors and their Committees to deliver the following objectives, through leading and project managing the following: To develop and oversee the implementation of a communications strategy for the Council of Governors in order to ensure that the views of the constituency represented, whether as an elected or appointed Governor are properly and adequately represented. To develop effective communications between the Governors and members. To review the methods used and to promote good practice in communications between Governors and members and make specific recommendations to the Council of Governors for implementation. To commission opinion surveys of members and Governors, in accordance with the Trust's Communications and Marketing Strategies. To develop a communications process acceptable to Council of Governors and Board of Directors that supports the Board of Directors' consultation with the Governors on its forward plans for the Trust. Take the lead in supporting the Governor Communications and Membership Committees, including providing advice & support to Governors in their role: Other aspects of the role will include: Compliance, Account management, Resourcing.
