Role for the Siebel CRM Application Support Officer (MVS, UNIX, Windows, Tivoli, 6 months', Brussels):

My client's IT department provides software development and data centre operations for the diverse business lines (Retail, Private, Corporate and Public banking activities).

Within IT, 2nd line dedicated teams (Application Services teams) support the IT infrastructure of the corresponding local Business line.

The team IT Application Services is responsible for the IT operational support of the QA and Production environments and operates from Brussels.

We are actively searching for an IT Siebel CRM Applications Officer to support the Siebel CRM IT applications related to the Business.

Experience required for the Siebel CRM Application Support Officer (MVS, UNIX, Windows, Tivoli, 6 months', Brussels):

Mandatory:

- Ability to analyse and understand technical requirements that may have an impact on the
operability and the support of complex banking applications.
- Ability to work both in a team as well as autonomously.
- Ability to work in highly pressurised environments.
- leadership

Preferable:

- Ability to assess incidents impact
- Sense of urgency in the resolution of incidents
- Knowledge of banking applications environment
- ITIL (v3) knowledge of 2nd and 3rd level support organization of teams dedicated to specific
platforms and software systems.

Technical experience required

Mandatory:

- Thorough knowledge of Control M distributed
- Thorough knowledge of MVS, UNIX and Windows
- Good knowledge of IT environments

Preferable:

- Good knowledge of iSeries IBM Mainframe
- Experience in monitoring systems (Tivoli) will be an advantage.

Functional experience required

Mandatory:

- Ability to understand and analyze complex applications issues that could be related to the
software language or to the bank applications.
- Ability to document all new applications installed according to the bank standards and to
keep the documentation up-to-date.
- Ability to coordinate and implement changes in the QA and Production environments.

Preferable:

- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Planning

Level:

Senior: at least 10 years of professional experience in Siebel CRM applications support

Languages required:


Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English;
Knowledge of French and/or Dutch will be an advantage
