Exciting opportunity to join an industry leader who has a strong recognition with their accounting and payroll software solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
They are looking for a Functional Support Software Consultant to join their busy, growing team in North Sydney.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team you will have at least 3+ years working as a Support Consultant with accounting/payroll software.
In this role, part of your duties will see you being the 1st point of contact and responsible for addressing clients' queries and issues relating to systems implementations, issues, software operations etc. You will provide advice to end users, answer support calls, troubleshoot reported problems, create relevant support documentation, promote products, and provide basic training and software installation when required.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Proven experience working as a Functional Support Consultant with accounting/payroll software
- Accounting knowledge and experience
- Understanding of basic network topologies, frameworks and structures
- Working with and assisting customers who have limited IT knowledge
- Good knowledge of Windows Operating System
- Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
- High level analytical and problem solving skills
- A high level of customer service skills
- Experience working with mid-market clients
- Ability to create support documentation and checklist
- Ability to understand, articulate and create reports using SQL (exposure to other report designer tools such as Crystal Reports)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs
- Australian PR is essential
