For one of our clients in the region of Eindhoven we are looking for a Software Configuration Management (SCM) System Architect.
JOBDESCRIPTION:
Tasks/Responsibilities of the SCM system architect in the software support group:
- You will be part of an architecture team that covers short, mid and long time activities in the area of a software development environment
- You will be active in projects that somehow affect an existing software configuration management solution in one of the world's biggest ClearCase archives;
- You will have a key role in defining the mid and longer term configuration management solutions (Design architecture);
- Good skills to guide the current situation to the to be architecture (innovative mentality - don't lose reality out of sight);
EXPERIENCE:
> 10 years experience with software configuration management (SCM) and related tooling and processes. Developer
Thorough understanding and practical experience with:
- ClearCase (must!)
- Development environments and strategy in general. (must)
- Perl/Shell/Solaris/Unix/Linux (unix/Scripting is a must)
- Excellent communication skills in DUTCH and English (both a must!);
- Shows initiative and problem solving attitude;
- Pragmatic, practical, flexible and committed to quality;
- Persuasive, Helicopterview, good personality, able to act in a very political sensitive environment;
- Long term commitment is a must!
