Description
UHF (DAMA)/SATCOM Specialist - Brussels, Belgium.I have an urgent requirement for UHF/SATCOM specialist for my client, a public sector organisation based in Brussels. You will be required to maintain SATCOM systems and tactical radio systems, along with coordinating SATCOM assets in support of my client.
You will be required to work on the following systems:
Transportable Satellite Ground Terminals (TSGT)
Deployable Satellite Ground Terminals (DSGT)
Bi-Band Satellite Suitcase Terminals (BBSST)
Norsat Bi-Band Terminal (DART)
VSATs of varying sizes
IMARSAT
As a SATCOM specialist, you will require exposure in the following:
Radio communications specialization in HF, VHF, UHF or SATCOM ground station.
Military or commercial exposure with HF, VHF, UHF or SATCOM ground station.
Tactical communications systems operators exposure
Ability to update basic software and firmware of associated hardware
Competent in the use of MS Office to include excel and outlook.
Ability to work individually or part of a deployment team
This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start.
