Senior Storage System Engineer, Brussels
Storage. System Engineer. TSM. SVC. LUN. We are urgently looking for a storage system architect for a client-facing project based in Brussels. You will be involved in the initial set up and installation all the way through to Level 4 support.
Profile:
-Expert in Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM): Vast experience in configuring and maintaining TSM Servers in an Enterprise environment
-Experience with setting up and configuring DS8000, DS6000, DS and SAN Volume Controller (SVC)
-Good knowledge in LUN assignments, LUN mapping and masking
-SAN expert (Brocade 48000, DCX): experience with multi site resilient SAN fabrics in an Enterprise environment, preferably with Brocade products and good knowledge of SAN design principles.
-Experience in programming languages: Kornshell, Perl, Bash
-Knowledge of AIX (network, LVM skills)
The project is due to start in mid-February until the end of the year.
English is the working language for this role, knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a bonus. Please note you will be required to be on call one week every two months.
