Description
Network Support Engineer to support our Network Management Systems along with support of large converged enterprise network. The position would be based in Atlanta.
Education:
4-year College Degree desired, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
Experience Required:
- 10 years hands-on experience
- Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, content Switches
- Hands-on experience and working knowledge
- TCP/IP, Multicast, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, frame-relay, MPLS, VOIP, QoS, ACL, VPN, DNS/DHCP, Cisco ASA, telepresence, wireless (Cisco and Aruba), TACACS, BigIP/F5, Ciscoworks, Infoblox, Airwave, nGenius/NetScout, Loglogic, sniffers, Network Management System: HP NNMi, HP Network Automation, HP Operations Orchestration, HP Service Manager and/or related systems.
Skills Required:

The successful candidate will be become a member of a Network Operations team. The candidate's primary responsibility will be the day to day support of the Data, VOIP, and Train Signals running across the Network. The candidate will be expected to analyze complicated systems, document application standards, and assure high levels of stability, reliability, and availability of the production network environment, consistent with established change control policies and prescribed procedures. Candidate will be expected to work anytime that the need arises.
