One of our clients inAtlanta(Perimeter Area) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (or lead) for a 6 month+ contract assignment. WE HAVE PRE-ARRANGED INTERVIEW TIMES FOR THIS FRIDAY -1/21! Primary responsibilities will include the following:
Design, document, plan and implement all aspects of the network infrastructure to support data and VoIP. Develop and communicate best practices, operational procedures and design documentation. Mentor engineers and cross-train peers on best practices and how to efficiently maintain the network Perform on-going optimization of the network to ensure adequate capacity, availability and scalability. Provide level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting support and provide root cause analysis of complex problems. Coordinate and implement system upgrades and site installations
Experience Required
3+ years' experience as a Senior or Lead Network Engineer
5+ years' experience working on Cisco Switches and Routers
5+ years' experience with Checkpoint Firewalls
5+ years' experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
3+ years' experience with Cisco Call Manager and Cisco IP telephony
Knowledge of SAN (Storage Area Networking), Fiber Channel, NAS (Network Attached Storage), Windows and Unix networking
