Description
An exciting opportunity is currently available in Alicante, Spain, for an Enterprise Architect Consultant. This position is located in the Public Sector through an IT Service Provider.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Education and experience:
University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Proven experience in the field of IT architecture (min 6 years).
Proven experience in enterprise architecture (min 4 years - not to overlap with previous experience).
Specific requirements:
Experience in developing and managing integrated processes, systems and data architectures in a comparable environment.
Experience of business process re-engineering.
Ability to analyze the organization's strategy and translate it into a comprehensive enterprise architecture that is pragmatic and deliverable.
Determination and strength of purpose to be able to convince on certain courses of action being taken in the interest of long-term benefits.
Ability to present and discuss architectural designs and plans and provide supporting rationale, including IT and business impacts and benefits, at the highest levels in the company.
Strong planning skills.
Strategic outlook coupled with the ability to offer pragmatic solutions in support of organisational and IT requirements.
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to speak, write and read fluently in English.
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
Excellent reporting methods.
Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks.
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
A Plus:
TOGAF certification
Zachman certification
Language requirements:
English. Spanish is not required
The position is offered as a freelance contract for an initial duration of 12 months. The likelihood of an extension for a further 2/3 years is very likely.
