Description
Technical level:
- Typically secondary/high school qualified with a relevant technical qualification and/or certifications.
- At least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Technical skills:
- Familiar with Unix environment.
- Experience in Unix and Perl Scripting.
- Experience with LDAP administration (Openldap, Redhat, Oracle OID, Iplanet Directory server, Sun Directory server).
- Database administration: performance tuning, statistics, when to use certain database options, using jobs, backup schemes
- Experience in very large environments
Description of activities:
- Resolve complex system problems within agreed SLA.
- Provide LDAP service support (3rd line).
- Log analysis.
- Problem investigation.
- Write technical documentation.
- Write comprehensive Incident Records.
- Provide statistical data for reporting.
- Willing to do standby (24/7 including holidays) 1 week every 4 weeks.
- 8 working hours per day, between 8AM and 8PM, under planning agreed in advance.
Soft skills:
- Very good knowledge of French and technical English.
