Description
We are seeking an E2E Service Management and Catalogue Architect for a 6 month contract opportunity to work in a large financial client.The duties and responsibilities of the Architect include:
- Must have E2E Service Management experience including Service Catalog Management and Request Fulfilment in a client facing ITIL v3 environment
- Performs the role of technical lead on the project(s) to understand the wants/needs/requirements/goals of the customer.
- Develops business, system, component and detailed requirements (functional and non-functional).
- Designs and costs architecture and technical solutions, which may contribute to the development of business proposals and Statements of Work (SoWs).
- Performs IT infrastructure tasks to evaluate, architect and design technical solutions.
- With the project manager, leads the technical management of project scope, cost, schedule and quality to ensure overall successful project delivery.
- Participates in client reviews and internal technical project reviews
- Creates and validates estimates and operational models.
- Assesses technical risk for the solution with corresponding mitigation activities.
- Supplies the technical aspects of the project plan to the Project manager who in turn, will be responsible for managing for the overall plan.
- Performs Technical Risk Management
- At a minimum, this role requires skill level equivalent to a certified IT architect
- ITIL v3 Service Management, esp. Service Catalog Management and Request Fulfilment
- Enterprise Services Bus (ESB) including data mapping
- Architectural foundational constructs (work products, processes, etc)
- Lead development of technical solutions and plans for complex projects
- Architectural Thinking, Use Case Modelling and Operational Modelling concepts
- Global Services Method Fundamentals (GSMethod) and Global Solutions Architecture Repository (GSAR)
