Finance Manager
Our client requires a Finance Manager/PMO to work onsite in Gosport.
Role:
The Finance Manager will be a direct report into the Programme Office Manager and will work closely with the Programme and Project Management Teams and lead the Refresh Finance Team to ensure Programme Financial information is available in a timeline manner and spend against contract proposals is accurate.
Responsibilities:
- Drive finance management process ensuring weekly and monthly reconciliations take place across the programme
- To work closely with the FAM team to ensure all activities have been billed in a timely manner
- To investigate any shortfalls and agree baseline position
- Provide management summary on cost and price position against programme contract elements, for Programme, account and client forums
- Develop Programme Monthly Financial Report and finance dashboard
- Maintain programme cost baseline, including uplifts and reductions resulting from approved change requests.
- Lead finance team in day to day financial management activities.
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years experience of Programme/Project Financial Management within Major Change Programmes.
- Experience of tracking cost against budgets and contracts
- Ability to coach programme staff on financial management approach and techniques
- Experience of Applications and/or Infrastructure IT programmes
SC clearance is required for this role however candidates willing to go through the checks may also be considered.
