ROLE:
My client is based in Central London SW3, and seeks a technical expert working in the Middleware Systems team, part of the Infrastructure Development area of the clients Corporate Computer Services division.
WORK SPECIFICATION:
My client is looking for an experienced technician to support our development work plan for one of the systems, primarily using IBM's WebSphere Application Server and IBM's WebSphere Commerce Suite software. The role will involve working on a specific divisional development project, working with the application development teams to support their development and testing work. The infrastructure is multi-platform and knowledge of Unix, AIX and Windows O/S would be beneficial.
SKILLS:
- IBM WebSphere Application Server v 6.1 to Advanced Level
- IBM WebSphere Commerce v 6
- Apache and IBM HTTP Servers
- Useful to have knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ
SKILLS:
- Proven experience of WAS and WCS administration
- Ability to work calmly, logically and to respond quickly to urgent problems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
