Harvey Nash is currently looking for an operational excellence supportconsultant for one of its customer.
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Raises and maintains the status of quality in the organisation andenables a company to promote itself as one that provides quality goodsand services. Involves Total Quality Management (TQM) programmes andthe development of standard procedures in accordance with ISO9001:1994or ISO9000:2000 regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deploy Lean Culture program within the area in theBusiness Unit (5S, Kanban, Visual management, KPI setup, promoteshoplfoor, tiered accountability, )
* Identify key areas for improvement via adata-driven process and determine plan aligned with the ValueStream/function alignment grid.
* Lead, support and facilitate OE project related tooptimisation of spare part management
* Delivery of benefits as identified in the projectsbusiness cases
* Develop and enhance a culture of Excellence to dothings in a simpler, smarter, quicker and in a robust, reproducible way.
* Ensure effective communication for OEprograms/project and report the progress to building manager and OEChampion of the Business Unit
* Remove barriers to progress
PREREQUISITES
Education:
* University Degree or equivalent
* Green Belt certified
Knowledge:
* Good understanding of Supply Chain processes/Manufacturing
* Knowledge in OEprinciples/tools/methodologies/application
Experience:
* Experience in Inventory management and Maintenance activities
* Experience in operations in an industrialenvironment with proven experience in implementing lean management (min2 years)
* Experience in project management and changemanagement
* Experience in process improvement
