Description
The requirement is for an experienced Project Manager who ideally has implemented a template approach to writing contracts, in a large multi-national organisation as you will be engaged in planning delivery, and hands on implementation.
The primary criterion is for an experienced project manager who has implemented a project to create a library of contract templates in multiple countries. Specifically, the role calls for someone with a strong working knowledge of contract terms & conditions and the ability to work with the key stakeholders in the context of changing behaviour - Legal, Tax, HSSE, Procurement and Business stakeholders - to develop and subsequently manage updates to the in country master templates.
Experience of working with, understanding and relating to legal teams, in large corporations to successfully bring about change will be a distinct advantage.
Ideally you will come from a procurement background, with experience of end to end category management and supplier relationship management. However, these will not fall within the scope of the project and will only be beneficial rather than a pre-requisite for the appropriate candidate.
Qualifications for the role
- Proven track record of best practice in project management
- Experience of implementing a new way of writing contracts in a multi-country implementation could differentiate any candidate
- Significant experience of procurement in a large multi-national, preferably in the downstream energy/oil sector
- A legal qualification will be an advantage
- Preferably MCIPS accreditation
- Extensive use of Microsoft Office applications for communication documentation and planning - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and optionally Visio and Project
- The suitable candidate will probably possess a first degree and an MBA
- Experience of having been involved in the creation, management and negotiation of short, medium and lengthy contracts will be beneficial
- Experience of working with PO terms and conditions in a P2P setting will be beneficial
- Additional languages may be an advantage
- A recognised project management qualification such as Prince 2 practitioner
