The company
Our client, part of a major construction services group and located just north of Nottingham, provides a range of services which are fundamental to the operational success of their customers within the broadcasting and communications sectors. These services cover the design, build, operation and maintenance of physical infrastructure, as well as managing and providing turnkey content-to-consumer delivery.
Role
The company operates a complex and well proven estimating model, however, the content of the various derived spread sheets needs review and validation or updating. This contract is to undertake that review and make appropriate recommendations. This will involve working with the Sales Director, the Senior Estimator and others to process the work in a reasonably short period.
Timescales
Our client would like to start this activity as soon as practicable with an initial duration of one month to address the estimates on a current large project. Subject to the success of this initial work there might be an extension for a further two months.
Experience
- Proven capability in the compilation and production of estimates for large scale construction projects
- Awareness of the full bidding cycle for large construction projects
- Contract negotiation experience at a high level
- Ability to communicate at a senior level.
