The IT Systems Trainer role is to maintain and deliver training programs for key business systems. Functions include assessment of training needs, review and development of training materials, coordination of training classes, and communication of education opportunities.
Responsibilities:
· Take direction from the Training Manager to understand training needs.
· Work with content owners to learn the system(s) and process(es) requiring training.
· Work with Training Manager to develop a training plan including, objectives, agenda, materials and follow up activities.
· Develop training aids such as training guides, quick reference guides, hands on practice, labs and CBT ’s.
· Develop instructor outline and determine appropriate instructional methods such as instructor led classroom instruction, instructor led WebEx instruction, train the trainer and CBT ’s.
· Coordinate and deliver training sessions.
· Work with content owners to review and revise training materials.
· Work with Training Manager to coordinate training schedules with sites and project schedules.
Requirements:
· Education: College diploma or university degree in information systems, communications, business administration or teaching.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years prior experience as a trainer, teacher, manager or developer of IT training programs.
