Financial Control Analyst
Exciting new opportunity for a part qual accountant to work with a large blue chip organisation in the south west, The position is for someone who has experience of both working in an IT and Finance environment and Will be able to liaise with both areas and support the IT function when needed.
Job Purpose:
AO&SM are accountable for all Infrastructure Production Services for the business, and Development Services for the Application Development teams. In addition, AO&SM are leading a major transformation programme that is changing and upgrading all aspects of the Infrastructure, and the operating and resource model.
Duties:
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure they understand their costs, and any risks and issues
- Support the monthly financial cycle across AO&SM, and conduct financial analysis and interpretation
- Support ad-hoc projects and reporting requests
- Support IT performance measurement, including production of cost, and productivity metrics
- Support IT performance improvement projects, eg Cost Efficiency Project
- Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
