Description
I am urgently looking for a SharePoint Infrastructure Architect - French or Dutch Speaker for one of my best client, based in Brussels. It's a fantastic contract of 8 months, with multiple extensions to follow.
The SharePoint Infrastructure Architect - French or Dutch Speaker will be:
Technical skills
Good experience in conceptualizing and implementing enterprise collaboration platform, (
for large enterprises - 4 years minimum)
Good experience as administrator of an enterprise (collaboration) platform ( 5+ years)
Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and preferably has the MCTS: Microsoft Office
SharePoint Server
Knowledge must include SharePoint Infrastructure architectural design, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.
In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content
Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.
Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2005 is required.
Ability to load balance and cluster the Front End production MOSS Servers
Experience with server installation, performance tuning is not required but valued.

Ability to maintain several SharePoint environments
Define and/or Implemented DRP
Collaborate with and Coach L3/L2 team members
Problem management Lead - for existing issues on performance, capacity etc.
Strong knowledge of:
IIS Manager and IIS 6/7 architecture
Server Manager and its functionality
Active Directory (including LDAP queries)
DNS
SMTP
Network Load Balancing (NLB)
Network and Security Principles
Windows Firewall
Event Viewer and Performance Monitor
Power Shell Scripting
Ability to read ASP, .ASP, .Net, C#, Java, and VB Code
Analyze SharePoint, server, application, network, and input/output device performance
Proficiency using SharePoint Designer
Experience installing SharePoint and deploying custom SharePoint solutions (webparts, sites, features)
Soft skills:
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex software design issues and create new software for one or more products
Good leadership skills to mentor, oversee, and lead team members
Good interpersonal skills to interact with senior customers, project managers, management, and team members
Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel
Ability to synthesize broad and narrow concepts of high complexity and use them to meet company objectives
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Languages skills: Bilingual FR/NL with basic knowledge in English
