Sr. Application Developer
Skills: .Net, OO languages (C#, C++, Java), Web Development, Relational databases, SQL Server
Summary
As an Application Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that enable personalized E-commerce. The goal of our software developers is to continually increase revenue and gross margin by building, automating, and streamlining existing processes while improving product quality. Developers work closely with customers & team members to stay abreast of organizational needs, changes, and technology issues. Candidate will utilize these relationships to design, build, and test software that is fun to use and increases efficiency. Key to the success of this position is a strong desire to learn and be part of an energetic team. In addition, the ideal candidate must already possess a whatever it takes attitude to achieve customer satisfaction. The outcome of this position will result in world class software that sets the standard for E-commerce and digital photofinishing operations within a light manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the high quality deployable web applications to be used by our top tier partners
- Help improve existing products by resolving defects and upgrading to new technologies
- Work closely with team members to research and troubleshoot issues
- Document systems as they are built
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact both effectively and professionally with business partners, team members, and individual customers
- 3+ Years working with OO languages (C#, C++, Java)
- 3+ Years working in web development (deep experience in Javascript or Actionscript, HTML, CSS)
- 2+ Year experience working with the .NET Framework, preferably C#
- 3+ Years Developing solutions with Relational Databases (SQL Server or MySQL)
- 2+ Year experience developing solutions with XML
- Flex Experience preferred
- 4 Year Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of OO concepts
