Halian are currently at the beginning of a titanic service delivery for our omnipresent partner which are the prime vendor for a major Healthcare vision which is flooding throughout the Middle East. Our Universal Partner has recently won a huge bid on a technology leading and ground-breaking programme in Doha Qatar.
This admirable programme is otherwise known as a Medical and Research Centre which is to be a state-of-the-art, Greenfield, all-digital, medical centre. As part of a super hospital implementation, they have awarded the contract for support and services along with enterprise integration of all IT systems to our worldwide partner.
We have an excellent 6 month contract plus likely extension, based in sunny Qatar working as an Oracle DBA for a major healthcare opportunity for our Global Partner.
The administrator we require will be involved in a host of different roles and responsibilities. Everything from Database Maintenance, Management and DR. You will be working in large environments with the latest technologies.
This eager beaver will be capable to handle and carry out the following:
- Start and stop database/server
- Manage database Logs, Archive logs, job queues, table spaces, data files and rollback segments
- Refreshing and cloning of database environments
- Manage day-to-day incidents, changes, requests, etc
In realtion to the Database Management, we need someone who his highly skilled in:
- Install and maintain database
- DB upgrade
- Apply DB patches
- DB discovery and remediations
- DB backups and restore
- Manage Database Security
- Database modelling
