Reporting directly to the newly appointed Chief Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR and Workforce Leadership and act as liaison between HR and the Employee Services Team.

The interim Director Of Workforce & OD will also be the Trust lead on the HR transformation agenda that will see the implementation of shared services with another regional NHS organisation. In addition to this, the successful candidate will also be charged with delivering further Workforce reduction savings including the re-organisation of current job roles to deliver the Trust headcount target.

They will also be expected to manage any complex Employee Relations casework involving Clinicians and Senior Management and act as the interface between HR and Clinical Directorates in cost saving initiatives including Theatre Utilisation, Consultant Job Planning and reducing Locum expenditure.
