Medicare Pharmacy IT - Business Systems Analyst Position -
This is a technology position, but requires a business-focused background. The role is with the Medicare IT support organization working closely with our Medicare business partners and other information technology professionals.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Development of business/functional requirements, functional specs and facilitation of IT based solutions thru extensive collaboration with business clients
- Create, present or collaborate on all required artifacts and deliverables including, but not limited to: Concept Description (Initiation analysis), Solution Alternative Analysis, Requirements, Logical Design document
- Provide IT subject matter expertise and project support through the entire project development life cycle
Candidate must the following:
- A track record of leading analysis efforts under minimal supervision (with reference examples)
- Experience handling up to 3 IT analysis project efforts simultaneously
- 5+ years of requirements writing and functional specification development
- Understanding of Medicare insurance business and associated government health care regulations
- Understanding of Pharmacy operations, PBMs and NCPDP transmission standards
Desirable skills/experience include:
- Understanding/Experience - Big 4 consulting experience
- Experience working in Health care IT environment
