Our global financial services client is looking to hire a high level Project Manager to lead a strategic OTC Clearing Programme.
Our client has the ambition to become a significant participant in the Fixed Income markets, especially GBP & €uro. These markets are undergoing and unprecedented level of change, driven principally by the regulations of EMIR, MiFID2 and Dodd-Frank. This programme has the scope of building a scalable OTC Clearing solution across all of the Fixed Income products, and to address all functional areas and life cycle activities
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Proven Project Management skills, leading execution of large scale change projects, across multiple functional areas
- Proven track record in the delivery of transformational change into Investment/Wholesale Banks, working across multiple business functions (ie Sales Trading, Finance, Risk, Operations and IT) at the MD level to shape and deliver business change and the supporting IT applications and infrastructure
- Deep knowledge and experience in the Interest Rates OTC Derivative product sets and their transaction life cycles, plus good working knowledge of FX beneficial
- Has 'expert' knowledge in the area of OTC Clearing at Central Counterparties esp. LCH SwapClear. Other CCP experience ie CME and Eurex is also beneficial. Responsible for supporting the translation of Target Operating Model and shaping this into delivery solutions and roadmap
- Takes a structured and logical approach to change delivery, whilst maintaining a sharp focus upon the delivery of the business benefits. Maintains the highest standards of transparency and control throughout the change life cycle and ensures that all stakeholders are fully engaged and communicated with effectively across all elements of the Programme
- A proven and effective communicator and stakeholder manager
- A strong team manager, who can effectively organise, motivate and direct a large and diverse, matrixed team across multiple functions and delivery partners, with a focus on creating value for the business
