Network Engineer Ericsson Voice/Cisco UC

CBD Location - IMMEDIATE start opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Voice Network Engineer with a heavy/majority emphasis on Ericsson coupled with Cisco (to a lesser degree) to provide support to one of our existing Clients (on site) in an existing managed service engagement.

You will be working closely with our own SDM's (for MAC's) and be the focal point of contact for various stakeholders. Previous experience overseeing a team, or being a senior member in a team environment would be highly regarded.

In doing so, you will be required to support the following;

  • The Network team supporting LAN/WAN and voice services
  • Estimated 70% BAU/30% Project based
  • Provide strategic direction for scalable and sustainable solutions (projects)

Implementation teams and the customer, providing voice systems/network design and implementation support to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions

What are we looking for?
Ideally you will be experienced with the following;
Typically 5+ years experience within the telecommunications industry.
Predominantly Ericsson MD 110 PABX network.
Strong Knowledge in Cisco- CUCM, Call Manager , Unity VM, and IPCC, etc.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, VoIP and WAN Networks.
Experience working with E1, ISDN, System Integrators and other Carrier services.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Industry certs highly desirable.

This role is available for an IMMEDIATE start - initially a 3 month engagement with the genuine possibility of extensions
