Description
This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opening for a Storage Engineer. Will be responsible for performing all manner of storage work independently without being heavily dependent on vendor resources.
Required Experience:
Familiarity with managing IBM Storage Managers 5300 or 4800.
Hands on experience with IBM H Blade Chassis & Servers Hardware, Console, and Management.
Familiarity with storage principles. (LUNs, Spindles, Disk Aggregates, Performance management, RAID configurations).
Familiarity with the use and management of storage in a VMware environment.
Familiarity with working with IBM/VMware on support incidents as required.
PREFER - VMware and Windows knowledge as secondary skills.
