Description
Contract QA opening in Birmingham. Great 6 month opportunity for a QA Engineer to leverage their skills testings activities related to web applications developed in Active Server Pages, SQL Server, and .NET, including development of test plans, test scripts, and regression testing. In this role you will work with developers, clients, support, and other SQA team members in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include developing high-quality solutions; daily coordination of testing activities with cross-functional team; participate in the evaluation and establishment of SQA infrastructure and tools; and accurately estimate requirements and tasks. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of technical software testing experience; has the ability to create and maintain test plans and can execute test scripts; can track defects using defect tracking software; and has the ability to query a SQL Server database. Experience creating and maintaining automated tests along with experience using MS Visual Studio 2010 test tools is preferred along with C# and VB code debugging skills. BS degree is a must.
