My global client is looking for a SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER for a mission of 6 months + in their Shared service center.
Senior Java developer
1. Context of the mission
The Shared Service Centre (SSC) Internet & Mobile Banking is responsible for the development of web banking and mobile banking solutions for the group. The solutions developed within our department are afterwards implemented in all the operational entities of the group.
Dedicated teams of analysts, architects, developers and testers work together with the representatives of local banks on the construction of generic assets, as well as supporting the different integration projects. As such, the SSC maintains international relationships within the group.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
3. Language requirements
French: mandatory
English: mandatory
Dutch is an asset
4. Location of the job
- Brussels
- Prepared to travel on regular basis to Luxemburg at the start of the mission.
- Occasional travel to Paris.
5. Required knowledge and experience
education
- Master or bachelor degree or equivalent through experience.
Personal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a constantly evolving and challenging environment. Good reporting and communication skills, both internally towards the management and the different teams, as externally, towards other units of the Group.
- Mandatory: More than 4 years experience in similar position
- Preferable:Business experience required
- Mandatory: Preferable: Banking area experience
- Proven experience in developing solutions based on Autonomy products (TeamSite and LiveSite).
Technical experience required
- Mandatory: Java SE, Java EE (EJB, JSP, Servlet, etc), Struts TomCat, JBoss HTML, JavaScript, JQuery XML, XSLT
- Practical experience with software factory concepts and tooling like Eclipse, Subversion, WebDav, Maven, ANT, Nexus, Sonar, PMD.
- Preferable: Autonomy TeamSite and LiveSite Solid CSS experience is a plus Spring, WebSphere, Autonomy IDOL
6. Objective of the job
The team is looking for an expert who will:
- Take a leading role in the development of the Web Content Management solution
- Determine best practices and quality criteria to guide the development of the applications
- Coach other developers with less experience on Autonomy products.
- Ensure the quality checks of the produced application in the light of the Software engineering principles
- Participate to the Architecture design of the application and their integration
- Pilot and challenge the potential third party participating to the development of applications
- Packaging the deliverables according to the expected structure and formats.
- Organizing and maintaining installation and operational documents and release notes for each delivery.
- Support the different teams during deployment and testing phases.
- Stay up to date with the latest evolutions of the Autonomy products.
