Description
Our London based Financial Services Client is seeking a Finance and Performance Manager.
Core Task:
- Complete the monthly accounting operations, working with the Contracts Administrator to ensure that all costs and billings are processed through the financial systems.
- Manage the production of both financial and other performance reports
- Manage the accuracy of the financial and other key performance information held within the financial and project tracking systems
- Develop reconciliation processes to ensure financial information is tracked across multiple systems and processes.
- Develop models to forecast financial performance
- Develop methodology for quantifying the financial benefits of projects and support the Advisors in applying
- Develop business case support for investment decisions
- Provide back-up support to the Contracts Administrator
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience gained within a large, Financial Services organisation
- Accounting qualifications not essential - experience much preferred over qualifications
- Expert in excel and VBA (ideally macro level)
- Previous exposure with business cases or financial modelling would be highly beneficial but is not essential
- Previous project accounting experience
- Previous benefits realisation experience
Beneficial Skills/experience:
- Management accounting
- Relevant Degree in accounting or other numerate discipline
